    The Party Doesn’t Stop On Oakland Rapper Lil Blood’s “Wig On A Pig”

    When it comes to having pure talent and dedication to the craft, Lil Blood possesses all those qualities. The Oakland, CA rapper has established quite the reputation in the Bay Area. Furthermore, Lil Blood recently dropped his debut project The Book of Dawa and it’s quickly gaining attention in the rap industry. The album highlights his dynamic sound, where he’s able to seamlessly shift between conscious rap songs to party anthems. Lil Blood’s major influences like Scarface, Too $hort and Juvenile, have helped shaped his own unique style.

    Despite his talents, Lil Blood started off working as feature artists for other emcees. Many fans may remember his feature on J. Stalin’s “What I See.” Fortunately, things started to turn up all aces once the Oakland rapper formed his musical band 3rd World. In 2012, his breakout single “Free Boski” ft. Lil Goofy started making the rounds on TikTok and became a viral hit. By 2015, Lil Blood formed another group One Mob alongside other rising stars Mozzy, Lil AJ and Joe Blow. That same year, the group dropped their first album, which added to Lil Blood’s success.

    Throughout the years, he gained even more momentum with solo hit singles like “Reckless” and “Don’t Get Involved.” It wasn’t long before EMPIRE records made him their newest signee. Now having made it clear that he runs the Bay Area, Lil Blood is ready to flex his rap muscles once again.

    Following the release of his debut album The Book of Dawa, Lil Blood’s newest solo project “Wig On A Pig” finds the rapper partying like there’s no tomorrow.

    Party All Day & Party All Night

    Clearly, Lil Blood is on the fast track to success. He’s established a reputation in the underground rap scene and has become a viral rap star. Lil Blood’s notoriety only continues to grow with each new record. Furthermore, his latest offering “Wig On A Pig” finds the rapper partying all day and all night. The song comes off Blood’s The Book of Dawa. Moreover, the music video features the Oakland rapper and his featurette Drace Love at the center of a celebratory get-together, performing their noteworthy verses amongst throws of twerking women.

    As far as Lil Blood’s style and production goes, he passes with flying colors. Furthermore, him and Love exchange verses over a West Coast-inspired beat, creating a lively and upbeat track that’ll make us want to party. “Wig On A Pig” may be a great way to close out the summer season.
