There may be home for Tekashi 6ix9ine after all!
For the last six months, Tekashi has been on just about every news outlet across the globe. The New York rapper constantly found himself in trouble while out on the streets. For the last several months the rainbow hair artist has been sitting behind bars. Back in 2017, is when 6ix9ine started building a buzz long before his album would eventually drop. Regardless of who it was, the Tr3way artist clearly had no concerns who he was beefing with.
No Jail Time?
Currently, the stage is set as to where the rapper is facing a minimum of 47 years and max life in prison. We’re talking serious charges including nine federal counts incorporating racketeering, firearms offense, along with conspiracy. Despite these serious charges, prosecutors may possibly offer Tekashi the opportunity to walk away from all charges. It truly sounds too good to be true, however, it’s we know that Tekashi69 is pillow talking with the feds.
“Should the defendant successfully cooperate, the government agrees that it will file at the time of sentencing a motion… for a sentence below any mandatory minimum”
That’s right if the rapper cooperates with the government the former gang member will be released from prison. Furthermore, the rapper would need to be placed in witness protection as well. Overall, 6ix9ine’s hearing is set on January 24th, 2020. Depending on how cooperative he is will determine his ultimate fate. Most recently he admitted to offering $20K to get Chief Keef ass put in a box.
