Complex recently named Joe Budden the best hip hop podcaster, and he’s certainly made an impression. The feisty New Jersey rapper is one of the most popular podcast hosts in the industry, but that doesn’t mean his pranks and bluffs don’t get old. Recently, Taxstone called out Joe Budden for his strange behavior towards his ex co-hosts Rory and Mal, calling Budden a master manipulator.

Budden and his co-hosts Rory and Mal are no strangers to controversy. In fact, they’ve been accused of many a faux pas, from the time they started trading barbs in the press to their infamous Twitter spat last year.
There’s also been a lot of talk about the relaunch of Budden’s show, as well as a number of recent guest departures. The rapper is known for his gravelly voice and snarky wit, and it’s no surprise that he’s garnered such an extensive audience since the early days of the podcast craze.
He also seems to have a knack for finding the best guest for his show, which is why the roster includes such heavy-hitters as The Lox and Meek Mill. On top of all that, he’s a good friend of LL Cool J and has worked with the likes of Jay Z and Kanye West.
Budden’s new studio looks more like a dentist’s office than a hip hop space.
This makes the relaunch of his show that much more confusing for his loyal listeners. Hopefully we’ll hear more from Budden soon, as his former co-hosts are still on the lookout for new gigs.
