Tamron Hall Interviews Angela Yee About Her Time on The Breakfast Club

In an interview with Tamron Hall on March 3, Angela Yee said that she felt she was more harshly criticized than her male co-hosts at The Breakfast Club during her tenure.

    The Situation

She also claimed that being the lone woman on the show put her in a precarious position because she would often get slammed for controversial comments made by her male counterparts.

Her point of the interview was because said she wanted to help other women in a similar situation by sharing her experiences and giving them some advice. She also said that sharing the facts about her time at The Breakfast Club was necessary so that other women could know what she went through and how to handle it.

    The Response

The Breakfast Club responded to Angela Yee’s claims about her experience on the show, with former co-hosts Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy taking to social media to call her out for her remarks. They even replayed some of the comments from her interview, calling out her for her statements and claiming that they didn’t believe her accusations.

On Monday, DJ Envy took to social media to address Yee’s claims about her time on The Breakfast Club. He questioned the accuracy of the claims and claimed that they belittled the women who worked on the show behind the scenes. He even went as far to say that he didn’t have much to add regarding the drama between the two former co-hosts, but he believed that Tamron and their producers are eager to fill the void that was left behind after Wendy Williams retired from daytime TV.
