A Legacy Remembered
Fans hear the shocking news this morning on Wed, Dec. 14, DJ Stephen, a.k.a “tWitch” died at 40. The former So You Think You Can Dance all-star’s incident went public soon after his wife announced the news.
Allison Holker, his wife, according to TMZ the dancer had left his home Tues, Dec. 13th without his car, which was not like him at all. A few moments later, the Los Angeles Police Department got a call for a shooting at an LA hotel. Behold, LAPD would be finding “tWitch” dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us,” Holker began. “Stephen brought light and joy to every room he entered. He cherished family, friends, and community above all else, and his guiding principles were love and positivity. He was the rock of our family, an incredible husband and father, and a source of inspiration for his fans.”
His impact was truly significant, and his positive influence will forever be remembered. “We will honor his memory every single day, and we kindly request privacy during this challenging time, particularly for our three children.”
Survived By His Wife And Kids
The star lives on through his wife and three children. The youngest daughter is Zaia (3), his son Maddox Laurel (6), and oldest daughter is Weslie (14).
The 40-year-old started “SYTYCD” back in 2008 when the world fell in love with the entertainer. From there went on to being in movies like Magic Mike XXL and working as a DJ and executive producer on a popular daytime show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Holker concludes her statement with, “Stephen, we love and miss you, and I’ll always cherish our final dance.”
