Sophie Rain, the 21-year-old content creator who has become one of OnlyFans’ top earners, detailed her massive 2025 earnings and what she’s doing with the money during a recent appearance on The Iced Coffee Hour podcast.
In the interview, Rain disclosed that she generated $83 million in total earnings last year and paid approximately $30.7 million in federal taxes — an effective rate of about 37%.
“I pay a lot in taxes. I pay 37% of federal taxes and I made $83 million last year total. So I paid 37% of that,” she said on the podcast.
Rain first rose to prominence with dance and modeling videos on TikTok and Instagram before transitioning to OnlyFans. She has consistently emphasized that her content does not include fully nude or explicit material, positioning herself as a Christian creator who is “saving” that side of her life for a future husband. Her success has been driven largely by teasing, lifestyle and personality-focused subscription content.

The Florida-based creator, who previously worked as a waitress and experienced financial hardship including reliance on food stamps, has shared dashboard screenshots over the past year backing up extraordinary figures. Those include lifetime gross earnings on OnlyFans surpassing $101 million as of early 2026, with earlier reports citing roughly $95 million earned in her first two years on the platform.
Rather than following the more common path of flashy spending, Rain is directing a significant portion of her post-tax earnings into traditional hard assets, primarily in Florida.
She already owns multiple properties in the state and was in the process of purchasing another at the time of the podcast recording. Most notably, she has acquired a 20-acre farm (approximately 8 hectares) complete with a large house, where she currently keeps 12 cows, along with goats and her dog.
Rain has described spending her free time personally tending to the animals and working on the property, calling the farm her “sanity sanctuary” and a much-needed escape from the demands of constant online content creation. Her stated long-term goal is to develop the land into a full-scale cattle ranch focused on breeding and production.
Industry observers note that the move represents a classic diversification strategy for high-earning creators. While OnlyFans and subscription income can deliver rapid windfalls, it remains volatile due to platform changes, algorithm shifts, subscriber churn and the relatively short peak earning window for many digital personalities. Converting earnings into real estate and agricultural land offers potential appreciation, ongoing revenue streams and a hedge against inflation.
Florida’s lack of state income tax also provides a practical advantage for someone in the highest federal tax brackets.
Rain’s story stands out in the influencer and OnlyFans space, where sudden wealth has often led to high-profile overspending on luxury goods, entourages and speculative investments. By starting relatively small — 12 cows on what appears to be low-leverage or paid-down property — she is giving herself room to learn the agricultural business while her primary earning power remains strong.

Challenges remain, of course. Scaling a legitimate cattle operation involves significant ongoing costs for feed, veterinary care, labor and equipment, as well as exposure to fluctuating beef markets, weather risks and Florida’s agricultural regulations. Still, beginning with hands-on experience on her own land positions her to treat the ranch as both a passion project and a potential long-term business.
At just 21 years old, Rain has already transitioned from modest beginnings to nine-figure earnings without leaning on fully explicit content — a notable feat in a highly competitive category. Her public discussion of taxes and her pivot toward productive real assets have drawn praise online as one of the more level-headed “I made it” narratives to emerge from the creator economy in recent memory.
The full Iced Coffee Hour episode has sparked widespread conversation about creator earnings transparency, tax realities for top performers and alternative wealth-building paths beyond the typical Hollywood or influencer playbook. Rain continues to share occasional updates from both her content career and her budding farm life on social media.
