Slimelife Shawty is honing his skills in expressing his emotions through his music. Demonstrating his talent for creating heartfelt trap songs once more, Slimelife presents “Baby Boy,” his latest music video. With powerful lyrics and genuine emotion in his voice, the Atlanta artist confronts his struggles while acknowledging his remarkable achievements against adversity: “I’m aware I’m in a difficult situation. Despite what others may say, I ventured into uncharted territories.”
With heartfelt lyrics and a melodic flow over an ATL Jacob-produced beat, this young emcee pours his pain into every word. The music video, directed by ShotByWolf, showcases Slimelife counting his wealth and contemplating his life’s challenges in empty parking lots and desolate apartment stairwells. “Baby Boy” follows his previous releases, including the music video for “No Brakes.”
In preparation for his upcoming project Better Livin, Slimelife Shawty has been steadily gaining recognition in the rap game.
