Raw Youngin celebrates continued success. After racking up 10 million-plus total streams, he was signed to legendary production collective 808 Mafia [JAY-Z, Kanye West, Drake]. The Lake City, Florida hot boy Raw Youngin tells fans that he cooked up a new single and music video entitled “From The Block.”

On the track, melancholic piano gives way to tense 808s as his hypnotic verses take hold. He clings to his honor as he assures, “They say I changed up. I’m still the same though,” before the hook scorches on impact. In the equally gratifying visual, Raw Youngin turns up for his birthday with friends and family. The video demonstrates his personality and universal appeal.

As a Lake City, Florida native, Raw Youngin developed his passion for rap as a young boy. embraced an intense need to rap as a child. He intently watched his older brother spit bars. Following his brother’s bid, Raw Youngin picked up the baton and started rapping heavily.
Building off buzz in the streets, he lit up the hardcore rap scene with independent projects Life of a Youngin and Life of a Youngin 2, attracting the attention of Deep Pockets Ent. Finally, behind-the-scenes king OthaGod connected Raw with iconic and influential producer Southside who signed him to 808 Mafia. Honing in on his skills, the rapper hit the studio alongside G Herbo, Spot Em Got Em, Blac Youngsta, 21 Savage, among other artists. He reached 10 million YouTube views and gained a large following on social media.
Raw is bringing a fresh perspective to hip hop.
