Quavo Claims Divine Guidance Behind Repossessing Saweetie’s Bentley Post-Breakup

Quavo told Yung Miami that God instructed him to reclaim the custom Bentley he once gifted Saweetie, reigniting one of hip-hop’s most talked-about breakup stories more than five years later. The comments, made during a conversation promoting his album QRÖMELIFE, have circulated widely after outlets including HotNewHipHop reported them this week.

In December 2020, Quavo surprised Saweetie with a customized Bentley Continental GT Convertible for Christmas. The light-blue drop-top featured snowflake details and “Icy” embroidered in the headrests. Saweetie called it one of the best gifts she had ever received and shared the moment online.

The two separated from each other in public in March 2021. Saweetie declared herself as being single and added that

“gifts won’t fix a scar.”

The response of Quavo was,

“She’s not the person I thought she was.”

Within minutes of this, rumors were rife about him getting his Bentley car repossessed. However, people in the know said that such rumors were “completely wrong.”

Later developments complicated the picture. On Migos’ Culture III track “Having Our Way” featuring Drake, Quavo rapped,

“She had it her way, now she out of a Bentley.”

Saweetie later told Yung Miami on Caresha Please that when the car was taken back she simply bought herself a Rolls-Royce. The vehicle eventually appeared for sale at a dealership with low mileage. In December 2025, Drake said on a livestream that he saw the ice-blue Bentley listed, purchased it, and gifted it back to Quavo as a surprise.

Quavo’s latest remarks frame the decision as divine guidance rather than pure spite.

“Sometimes God says get something back, you better go get it,”

He said, according to circulating reports of the interview. The story continues to surface because it blends lavish celebrity gifts, a very public split, musical score-settling, and an unexpected full-circle chapter involving Drake. For now, the Bentley saga remains one of those hip-hop episodes that refuses to stay in the past.
