Prison Officer at Diddy’s Facility Faces 15 Years for Inmate Relations

A 27-year-old married corrections officer who worked at the same New Jersey federal prison where Sean “Diddy” Combs is serving his sentence has been charged with sexual abuse of an inmate, federal prosecutors announced.

Jordan Pensak, of North Brunswick in Middlesex County, faces one count of sexual abuse of an individual in federal custody. If convicted, she could receive up to 15 years in prison. She was released on bail after her initial appearance July 28 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Elizabeth A. Pascal in federal court in Camden.

According to a criminal complaint and statements in court, Pensak began working in the unnamed male inmate’s housing unit at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix around April 2024. Prosecutors allege a sexual relationship started shortly afterward and continued into early 2026.

The pair allegedly had sex multiple times in an office inside the low-security prison. The inmate paid other prisoners to serve as lookouts during the encounters. One specific incident charged occurred on or about January 8, 2026. Bureau of Prisons records show Pensak was on duty that day. She later told someone she took emergency contraception two days later.

Investigators recovered two contraband cell phones used by the inmate, seized in August/September and October 2025. The devices contained more than 100 sexually explicit photographs and videos of Pensak and the inmate, along with extensive messaging. From August 2025 through January 2026, the two exchanged dozens of Instagram messages in which they discussed their relationship, professed their love, and sent explicit content. Reported examples include references to “vibrating panties” and “big man hands.”

Pensak admitted the relationship in text messages sent to multiple people, including members of the inmate’s family. In January 2026, amid a pregnancy scare, she texted that she was several days late for her period and asked if the recipient was “ready to be an uncle.” She expressed concern that a pregnancy would worsen the ongoing investigation and referenced differences in race between the inmate and her husband. She also discussed the possibility with the inmate’s relatives, saying she could not keep a child because of the impact on her job.

In other messages, Pensak acknowledged awareness of the probe. She claimed inmates had “snitched,” insisted investigators “can’t prove nothing,” considered quitting to halt the inquiry, and confirmed the issues involved both “sex or contraband.” When told she could face criminal charges and prison time, she replied, “Yes I know.” She also described getting high with the inmate at work.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has placed Pensak on administrative leave pending the outcome of the case. The inmate was not charged in connection with the allegations.

FCI Fort Dix, a low-security facility with a minimum-security satellite camp located on the grounds of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Burlington County, houses more than 4,000 inmates. Combs is currently serving a roughly 50-month sentence there following his conviction on prostitution-related charges; the case involving Pensak has no connection to him.

Federal law prohibits sexual acts between prison staff and inmates regardless of claims of consent, citing the inherent power imbalance. The investigation was conducted by the FBI and the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General. Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph McFarlane of the U.S. Attorney’s Office Special Prosecutions Division is handling the prosecution. Pensak’s attorney is Mark Catanzaro.

The charges are accusations only. Pensak is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
