After calling the virus a hoax, President Donald Trump and His Wife Melania Trump test positive for COVID-19. The news comes almost a month before an already uncertain Presidential Election.

We are living in some of the craziest times known to man.
The commander and chief of the USA let the world know he has a deadly virus… and the tweet has over a million likes. Even more the common sentiment of the President’s diagnosis is alot like this.

According to the white house, Trump feels “Mild symptoms” and will not be on the campaign trail for a while. The timing of the presidents’ positive test couldn’t have come at a worse time.
The next debate is 13 days away, and after both candidates, first performance, neither can afford to miss the next debate. Furthermore, with the election in 32 days, having to self-quarantine for 14 days is not ideal.
One positive for the trump administration is that Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen tested negative. However, the ramifications of a sitting president catching a deadly virus have already begun.
Dow futures are already down 350, and officials are testing people, including Congress members, for the virus.
The irony of Donald Trump having COVID-19 is too much to detail, but hopefully, it’s a lesson he and this country can learn from.
