    Among the broadcasters set to air the Times Square celebrations are ABC and CNN, with their respective shows, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and New Year’s Eve Live. Each program promises a night filled with dazzling performances and celebrity sightings.

    CBS is also back in the game with its New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, a special that first graced the network in December 2021 and features the iconic music note drop.

    However, NBC won’t be hosting Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party this year, opting to air Sunday Night Football instead.

    New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash

    New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash is back for its third year in a row since its debut on CBS in December 2021. This country music extravaganza will span five hours, showcasing a stellar lineup of musical talents.

    Musician Elle King and Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith will host the special, joined by Cody Alan and CBS anchor Lonnie Quinn reporting from New York City’s Times Square, and Dustin Lynch, who will also take the stage.

    Nashville’s Big Bash will feature nearly 50 performances from various locations in Nashville, including the mainstage at the city’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.

    The broadcast will span multiple time zones, culminating with the traditional countdown at midnight ET and concluding with the famous Nashville music note drop and fireworks at midnight CT.

    FOX News Channel will usher in 2024 with two one-hour New Year’s Eve specials starting at 10:00 p.m. ET. The network will first air Who Can Forget 2023, followed by A New Year with Tyrus.

    In contrast to the other programs, both FOX specials will focus on recapping the year’s most unforgettable moments and viral trends rather than musical performances. The shows will feature appearances by some of the network’s most prominent personalities.

    Who Can Forget 2023 will air on FOX from 10:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 31, followed by A New Year with Tyrus from 11:00 p.m. to midnight.

    What’s in store for Who Can Forget 2023?

    Who Can Forget 2023 will be hosted by a team including America’s Newsroom’s Bill Hemmer, FOX & Friends Weekend’s Pete Hegseth, FOX Across America’s Jimmy Failla, Kennedy Saves the World’s Kennedy, and FOX & Friends First’s Todd Piro.

    They’ll revisit 2023’s most memorable moments, such as the Barbenheimer phenomenon that took cinemas by storm with each film’s release.

    A New Year with Tyrus will be led by the FOX News contributor, professional wrestler, and New York Times bestselling author.

    In his first-ever New Year’s Eve special, Tyrus will be joined by Michelle Tafoya, Sean Duffy (co-host of FOX Business Network’s The Bottom Line), and comedian Tyler Fischer.

    Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

    Returning for its 52nd year, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, promises over 5 1⁄2 hours of musical performances, guest appearances, and glimpses of global New Year’s Eve celebrations.

    Seacrest, marking his 19th year as host, will be joined by pop sensation Rita Ora in Times Square, New York City, while TV personality Jeannie Mai will oversee the Hollywood coverage on the West Coast.

    The evening will feature a variety of top-charting performers, playing their latest hits and timeless classics.

    As the countdown to midnight begins in Times Square, Post Malone will perform his hit “Chemical” from the luxurious Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

    K-pop sensation NewJeans will also make their debut on the show, performing “ETA” and “Super Shy” from their latest album, Get Up. Reggaeton superstar Ivy Queen will light up the stage from the Puerto Rico Convention Center and DISTRITO T-Mobile.

    CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live will be co-hosted by Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, who will ring in the new year from Times Square, New York City.

    Cooper expressed his excitement about spending New Year’s Eve with his dear friend Cohen, while Cohen echoed the sentiment, calling it a cherished tradition.

    The broadcast will feature reports from various CNN correspondents across North America, with Richard Quest reporting from the crowds in NYC. Sara Sidner and Cari Champion will host the Central Time Zone countdown from Austin, Texas.
