OnlyFans Creator Maeurn Smiles Uses Platform Earnings to Build School for Children in Philippines

Maeurn Smiles, a Filipina OnlyFans creator known professionally by that name and born Rhea Mae Tolentino on June 11, 2000, has used earnings from the platform to purchase land and fund a school project in her home province of Cebu, the Philippines.

In 2024 she bought a plot in Lutac, Naga, Cebu, for 1.75 million pesos, according to what she told TMZ. She originally planned to donate the land so the government could construct a public school. She later decided to finance and oversee the project herself after learning government rules would prevent naming the school after her late father.

The planned facility is identified in her public posts and project materials as the Edmundo Tolentino Memorial National High School. A smaller community learning centre opened on the site in 2025. It offers local children hands-on science experiments, cooking and nutrition classes, creative arts and other practical activities. The larger school building, intended to accommodate around 300 students, remains under construction.

Smiles has said she always wanted to become a teacher but left school at 17 because her family could not afford the fees. She grew up in poverty in Cebu, at one point living in a one-room shack or wooden hut with limited facilities. Before launching her OnlyFans career she worked as an online English tutor for Chinese students, often putting in long hours for modest pay.

She operates the education effort through an initiative called Mundo and Mae Educ. On the project’s site she describes securing the land in 2024 with the aim of creating learning opportunities for children who face barriers similar to those she experienced. The initiative lists values of kindness, integrity, community, empowerment, transparency and accountability, with a mission focused on quality education for underprivileged children in the Philippines.

TMZ first reported the project in detail on August 6, 2026, after speaking with Smiles. Additional coverage followed in outlets including Mothership and IBTimes UK in early October 2026. Those reports noted that a September 2025 earthquake in the province damaged nearly 10,000 classrooms, adding to existing pressure on local school capacity.

In interviews Smiles has addressed criticism of how she earns her income. “Some people will never respect how I earn my money,” she said in comments reported by the Daily Mail and carried in later coverage. Online discussion of the story has included both praise for the educational effort and debate over the funding source.

Smiles maintains a substantial social media presence, with millions of Instagram followers, and has previously used her earnings to support her family, including housing and education for relatives. The learning centre continues to operate while work on the main school building proceeds.
