Olumide Drops New Single “Toxic In The City”


Olumide’s album, Road To Riches, has been a continuous success that keeps on giving this holiday season. With hits like “Flip” and “My Bank,” the album’s momentum soars higher as the music video for the track “Toxic In The City” is released. This track is Olumide’s personal favorite.

“It’s my favorite track from the album,” he shares. “It’s honest and real. It may sound cliché, but it truly comes from the soul. The lyrics are straightforward. From the local scene to the national scene, we all encounter toxic elements in life. How do we rise above it?”

Directed by Machina Media, the music video showcases Olumide walking through the city, delivering acrobatic lyrics while proudly representing his roots over the KILASI-produced beat. “Toxic In The City” is part of a 10-track album featuring production by Serigo Cortez, FiveOhTrez, Vicious Varez Visions, Dizzee Beats, and Justin Loring. Road To Riches is Olumide’s sixth album.
