$NOT Shares Eye-Catching Video for Recent Single “RED”

$NOT, The Florida Rapper Announces “WORLD TOUR,” Hitting North America in Fall 2021 and Europe in 2022

The Florida native lives the life of a mob boss in his new video; Tickets go on sale Friday July 23rd.

Critical Praise:

“$NOT has reached a point where it’s undeniable that he is a rising star, and his music will reach a wide audience, no matter where it’s shared online.” – Complex

“He’s on his path to becoming a prominent independent rapper with mainstream appeal… $NOT possesses a unique charisma, and with each single, he continues to gain traction.” – Pigeons & Planes

“$not has transformed from an experimental artist to a unique lyricist who will lead the SoundCloud era.” – Miami New Times (cover story)

“Beautiful Havoc showcases a range of moods, reflecting the contrasting themes implied by its title. The tone is mostly laid-back and effortlessly charismatic, driven by $not’s precise and straightforward delivery. However, there is an underlying sense of negativity at the edges… In a world already filled with chaos, $not finds space in his music for more refined elements.” – Pitchfork

“‘Pressure’ by $not reveals a shift in hip-hop… His relaxed flow and understated style don’t undermine the weight of his dark and direct lyrics.” – Teen Vogue

The Video + Tour:

Rapper $NOT might be an introvert at heart, but he’s personable during his performances. Coming through with an inventive clip for his latest single, $NOT shares the video for “RED.” Produced by ToryOnTheBeat, “RED” aligns with his chill, yet tough demeanor that $NOT has perfected, broadcasting the fact that he will do what he has to do:

“Get the fck up out my way, btch, I got a strap/Body on the ground, we gon’ leave you where you lay.”

Directed by UnkleLuc, the video delves deeper into $NOT’s sentiments about his road to success and wondering if his support is real. The visual is clear and direct with $NOT portrays a ruthless crime boss who places his trust in the wrong men.

Along with the video for “RED,” $NOT announces “WORLD TOUR,” his first headlining international tour since his sold out sojourn in early 2020. $NOT’s touring schedule kicks off with a series of festival sets, including performances at Rolling Loud Miami, Firefly, and Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash. In October, the tour starts in earnest, spanning over 30 dates and moving coast-to-coast in the U.S. and Canada, from Boston on October 10th to St. Louis on November 21st.

The North American leg of the tour finishes up at Rolling Loud California in San Bernardino in December. In 2022, $NOT makes his way across the pond for over 20 dates, criss-crossing the continent and the British Isles in February and early March. Tickets for “WORLD TOUR” go on sale July 23rd at 10am PT/1pm ET.

Single “RED”

“RED” arrives as $NOT climbs charts with “Tell ‘Em,” his collaboration with fellow riser Cochise. On “Tell ‘Em,” $NOT provides a calm counterpoint to Cochise’s hyperactive delivery, bodying the beat with his deadpan warnings of impending doom. With a video directed by $NOT’s frequent collaborator Cole Bennett (8.5 million views in one month), “Tell ‘Em” has become a phenomenon, generating over 11 million global streams per week and becoming $NOT’s first-ever hit on the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at #64 and currently sits at #90.

“Tell ‘Em” arrived in the wake of “Whipski,” a breezy collaboration with Lil Skies, complete with another Cole Bennett-directed video, following the loose storyline established in “Revenge” (11.3 million views) and “Mean” ft. Flo Milli (9.7 million views). $NOT is always ahead of the game. He recently released an NFT exclusively on Zora to coincide with the launch of “Whipski.” Additionally, he partnered with Rose In Good Faith for an exclusive merchandise drop that accompanied the release of the “RED” single, with many items already sold out. In a recent collaboration, $NOT joined forces with Kevin Abstract and slowthai on Abstract’s latest single, “SLUGGER.”

Beautiful Havoc Release

Last year, $NOT released Beautiful Havoc, his latest project. The rapper showcases the strength of his pen. Beautiful Havoc interrogates the 22-year-old rapper’s pain, addressing themes such as betrayal and hardships that shape his rigid personality. With production from notable artists like Powers Pleasant, Eem Triplin, Woodpecker, and more, Beautiful Havoc showcases a vibrant and diverse sound, allowing $NOT to display his exceptional melodic instincts while offering a contrasting perspective with his introspective and self-reflective lyrics.

The album features well-received singles, including collaborations with iann dior and Denzel Curry. Notably, “Mean” (with 35 million Spotify streams) features Flo Milli and has sparked a viral trend on TikTok with over 700k video creations. Beautiful Havoc is available on all major platforms through 300 Ent.

Expect more music from the young rapper in the near future as he continues his rise to stardom and works on his highly anticipated follow-up to Beautiful Havoc.
