Kim Kardashian, the star of the Kardashians, recently faced some flak from her followers for her signature pout in a family photo she shared on Instagram.
The photo was taken during a Christmas concert by Mariah Carey, which Kim attended with her mother Kris Jenner, sister Khloe, and her children North and Chicago, whom she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West.

The photo showcased the family backstage, with Kim donning a black leather outfit and a fur coat, her hair styled in a sleek updo and her makeup glamorous.
While everyone else in the photo was smiling, Kim chose to pout, which didn’t sit well with some of her followers. Comments ranged from light-hearted teasing to outright criticism, with some followers urging her to smile more.

However, instead of a smile, she opted to pout her lips out into a kissing face–commonly referred to as duck face. Naturally, fans had a field day with the star’s go-to pose.

Most criticized her for always resorting to it, noting not only her age but that it detracts from the rest of the photo.
First Concert Confusion: Fans Question Khloe’s Claim
Interestingly, when Khloe shared the same photo on her Instagram feed, she mentioned that it was the girls’ first-ever concert.
This led to some fans questioning the claim, considering their uncles are renowned musicians Kanye West, Travis Barker, and Travis Scott.

“Why does Kim always poke her lips out, looks so very childish,” one fan wrote. “Omg Imagine being in your mid-40s still Duck Lipping lol,” another chimed in.
