North Carolina Isn’t Ready For Rising Star Tino SZN’s “Sentient”

Every city has a star musician they represent. Though, North Carolina isn’t ready for the teenage, hit maker Tino SNZ. At just 18-years-old, the North Carolina native has made quite a name for himself in his hometown. Not to mention, he’s making waves in the HipHop community. Furthermore, he’s widely known for switching up beats between pop punk, rage beats and HyperPop sounds with his SoundCloud-infused vocals. Like the younger versions of Trippie Red and Lil Uzi Vert, he drops trap-inspired bars over catchy beats that’ll have us playing the song on repeat. SNZ’s earlier tracks like “Long Way From Home” and “Up” have put the rapper on the map. Not to mention, he’s received nods from several music publications like Sheesh, HotNewHipHip, and EARMILK. Tino SNZ has become a mega rap star, all while still going to high school.

Moreover, SNZ makes it clear that he’s the new “it” guy on the block. He especially made that notion clear after dropping his newest 17-track, project Sentient at the end of last month. On the record, fans find the North Carolina rapper enjoying his newfound fame and living out his dreams. More importantly, he makes it clear that he’s number 1 in the rap scene.

Tino SNZ Knows He’s The “One” On Sentient

Fans of Tino SNZ know that he likes to switch things up. His newest record, Sentient certainly has a lot to offer fans. The 17-track project basically defies every rule about swapping music genres, but somehow, SNZ makes it work. On one track, he raps over Pop Rock beats and on another it could be retro sounds. The rapper then pairs the unique beats with his own trap and SoundCloud-infused rap flow.

Furthermore, SNZ makes sure to name-drop big name artists like Doja Cat. What’s more, he even had enough gusto to compare himself to Ye on the first track “Vetements Coat.” Additionally, he named an entire track after Jennifer Lopez, titled “J Lo.” On most of the tracks, Tino SNZ lets the fans know that he’s “that one” rap artist we want to listen to.

Though, other tracks take a break from the all the bravado and gusto. SNZ’s tracks “Crash The Party” and the Pop Rock-infused song “Right Time” shows the rapper cutting off his enemies as he strives to achieve his dream. According to the young emcee, he doesn’t have time for fake friends, he’s working on his come up. Tino SNZ certainly has solidified his place in the rap scene with his newest track.

During a 2021 interview with Sheesh Media, SNZ shared, “A message I wanna convey is that you can come from nothing and as long as you apply yourself and believe, then you can accomplish anything, make your dream a reality.” He’s clearly living proof that anyone’s dream can become a reality.
