Despite her retirement announcement last year, Minaj hasn’t given up the mic yet. The star has been featured in several music videos, including Lil Baby’s “Do We Have A Problem?” Recently, she dropped the teaser for her upcoming song “Freaky Girl.”
The Queen Of Rap Music Returns
This week, Nicki Minaj had a very special treat for all her Barbz fans. On Tuesday, the raptress posted a video on social media in an effort to tease her new song “Freaky Girl.” The song features a sampling of Rick James 1981 hit track “Super Freak.” Looks like Minaj might be joining the large group of artists sampling old time classics in their songs.
Furthermore, the clip features the rapper sprawled out across an orange lounge. The 39-year-old strikes a pose, winks and throws up middle fingers at the camera. Minaj’s teaser plays in the background, combining her verse with James’ lyric “She’s alright, that girl’s alright with me.” Additionally, Minaj wrote in the captions on Instagram “He wants a F R EEEEEE A K.” She’s making one major comeback.
When To Expect The New Video
Minaj has set the bar high for her new song “Freaky Girl.” Unfortunately, she hasn’t unveiled the release date for the track or if there’ll even be a music video. Knowing the raptress, though, it’ll be here soon. Afterall, Nicki Minaj is one of the biggest female rappers in the world. She brings the heat everytime.
