Rapper Nicki Minaj is a busy lady. Not only has she released a remix for Skeng’s “Likkle Miss” but her Queen Radio: Volume 1 album dropped last week. The collection contains some of her biggest hits including “Beez in the Trap,” “Chun-Li” and more.

She also recently performed on Sunday’s MTV VMA’s. She teamed up with the Jamaican singer Skeng for a rework of their collaboration. Other performers on the night included ’90s R&B favorites such as Mary J. Blige and Xscape.
Earlier this week, Minaj teased her fans with a snippet of an upcoming song featuring music veteran Tamar Braxton. The Queen rapper urged her followers to let Keke Wyatt, Brandy and Tamar know they’re needed for the track. We don’t know if the song will be on her upcoming Pink Friday 2 project or when it will drop.
Die hard Barbs can keep their eyes peeled for more teases of what’s to come from Nicki and Tamar’s possible collab. The single’s success may even boost the release of the long-awaited project. Aside from her new track, Minaj recently stepped up her social media presence by promoting the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
She will join fellow emcees LL Cool J and Jack Harlow to host this year’s event in New Jersey. The emcees will take an innovative and unique approach to hosting this year’s show by sharing the duties of master of ceremonies, according to a press release. The event will take place at New Jersey’s Prudential Center and will air on Aug. 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, Nickelodeon and Paramount Network.
