A Utah car collector is claiming NBA YoungBoy rented his modified Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato for a music-video shoot, drove it into rough mountain terrain, left it leaking fluid, and abandoned it on the hillside.
The allegation exploded across X this week after clips from a group interview featuring Supercar Ron, a Utah-based YouTuber and collector known for exotic builds, hit accounts like My Mixtapez and AkzWhoMatter. In the circulating footage, Ron describes how YoungBoy’s manager reached out on Instagram early in the tenure of his car manager (referred to as Tase or Tace). At the time, Ron says he wasn’t deeply familiar with the rapper despite the large following. He sent the off-road-capable, later camo-wrapped Sterrato to the location anyway.
According to Ron, the team took the car up the hillside at the property for the shoot. Heavy security was present he estimated around 25 armed guards. The vehicle ended up “absolutely wrecked,” leaking fluid everywhere, and was left at the top of the hill. Tase called asking what to do. Ron has also referenced other incidents during the shoot, including a worker reportedly being run over and paramedics responding. He has said he is holding back further details “because I really don’t want to get murdered over this,” while still noting he likes YoungBoy’s music and addressing the rapper in a joking tone in the interview.
The assertion has yet to be proved. There is no police report, legal document, insurance paperwork, bill from repairs, lease agreement, or statement made by YoungBoy or his entourage that has been uncovered regarding the claim. The assertion is based purely on what was recounted by the car owner.
“Grave Digger Mountain” is the name YoungBoy has used for his rural property near Huntsville, Utah, acquired around late 2023. The site has served as a backdrop for videos, horse riding, interviews, and his post-incarceration lifestyle. The nickname also ties into his branding, including the 2024 compilation Compliments of Grave Digger Mountain. Both the rapper and Supercar Ron have clear Utah ties, which makes the logistics of the alleged rental plausible on the surface, but does not prove the damage claim.
YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, has long been linked to luxury cars in videos and public sightings. A separate 2017 case offers historical context only: a Los Angeles rental company sued after a 2016 Lamborghini Huracán Spyder was allegedly crashed and abandoned in West Hollywood, with claimed damages exceeding $350,000. Sources close to YoungBoy disputed his direct involvement at the time. That older dispute does not prove anything about the current allegation.
The story is spreading fast because it mixes YoungBoy’s celebrity, his documented Utah base, a flashy off-road Lambo, and a dramatic quote about safety. Social-media virality is not evidence. Until rental paperwork, photos of the specific damage, repair records, or a response from the artist’s side emerges, this stays one person’s side of the story.
