Weezy is back in full effect in 2018.
Since the release of Lil Wayne’s Carter V, he hit the ground running. Who would expect after all these years that he would still have the ex-factor when it comes to rap.
We can never overlook what Lil Wayne has done for the culture of music. His longevity is one that cannot be forgotten or overlooked in any way, shape, or form. From being the most featured artist from summers at a time to dropping multiple mixtapes, Wayne has been the most consistent leading up to his legal issues.
The Young Money General has been the reason for great hip-hop through the last decade with bringing on Nicki Minaj, and Drake. Despite being out the picture due to jail time, and having to battle with Cash Money CEO Wayne has still defied odds in every facet.
Earlier this year, Wayne won a judgment against Baby and Universal that allowed him to part ways with Cash Money and receive funds owed to him. Weezy will continue his journey to the top this upcoming weekend with returning to the Saturday Night Live stage.
Weezy will be one of the performers on November 10th, for the beloved 44th season. Wayne will be returning to Saturday Night Live for the first time since 2010.
