Miley Cyrus found a permanent way to commemorate her romantic Italian vacation with Kaitlynn Carter.
Miley Cyrus added a large new tattoo by celebrity tattoo artist Brian Woo. The artist posted his extremely detailed tattoo work on his Instagram, revealing that it was inspired by a “cool old sculpture” Cyrus found in Italy.
According to Page Six, The design happens to be one of Milan’s most treasured images.
Woo’s work is located on Miley’s left forearm underneath where her mother’s birth name, Leticia Jean.
Miley Cyrus’s other tattoos include portraits of her pets who have died and also, several pieces dedicated to almost divorcy husband Liam Hemsworth.
Cyrus’ vacation in Italy is of course where she and Kaitlynn Carter made their romantic friendship, well, publicly romantic.
The two were photographed kissing on a yacht during the trip. It was then that Miley Cyrus’ rep announced her and Hemsworth’s separation. Carter and Cyrus’ fling continued back home in Los Angeles.
According to Entertainment Tonight, it was one of the reasons that Hemsworth went ahead and filed for divorce from Cyrus. The brave move ends their roughly eight-month marriage and 10-year on-off relationship for now.
“Liam’s decision to file for divorce is sad, but in the end, it was never going to work,” a source explained to the outlet. “They are too different. Liam never wanted to share Miley with anyone. He loves her and he is far too traditional. He finally realized he just wants to start fresh. Liam has come to terms that it was time to move on. Liam’s family has been incredibly supportive. They are relieved it’s over.”
People told that Miley Cyrus is doing okay despite the surprise divorce filing. “She didn’t expect it and is a bit disappointed, but she is still doing well and has obviously moved on as well,” the source said.
