Memphis Rapper Key Glock’s Boasts With Confidence In “Diapers”

Memphis rapper Key Glock has proven time and time again that he’s here to stay. Considered as one of the hardest young rappers in the game right now, the 24-year-old is hard at work on his come up. The rapper came out the gate swinging when he dropped his 2016 hit record his Whole Lotta Errthang mixtape. Since then, rapper has been dropping hit track after track on a weekly basis. The arrival of his Yellow Tape 2 project back in March only helped elevate the rapper’s career.

Furthermore, the 20-track project started receiving praise from every direction. The album made it onto the Top 10 Billboard 200 Charts, garnishing over 70 million streams on Spotify. He had success even before signing with Paper Route Empire. Additionally, Glock’s first Yellow Tape record dropped in 2020 and made it onto the No. 16 on the Billboard Charts. That’s a true independent artist. Though, the Deluxe version of Yellow Tape 2 took the rapper to entirely level of stardom.

Even better, his Young Dolph-inspired track “Proud” paid tribute to his mentor and cousin, while also raking in 4 million views in just 3 days. Key Glock has received raving reviews from even the likes of The New York Times. He’s certainly the one to watch for.

Key Glock only solidified his place in the rap game with the recent release of his newest track “Diapers.” The track comes as the first official offering after the release of his Yellow Tape 2 Deluxe album and packs tons of heat.

Key Glock Isn’t Phased By The Competition In “Diapers”

At first glance, the song title for Key Glock’s newest offering leaves us gawking at the rapper. Though, never judge a book by its cover. The Paper Route Empire signee’s song title choice could’ve used a few more revisions but nonetheless, the track meets fans expectations.

“Diapers” finds the Memphis rapper boasting with confidence. Glock isn’t worried about the competition. According to him, he already has the rap scene eating out of the palm of his hands.

Furthermore, the ominous atmosphere and organ-infused track only adds to Key Glock’s message of victory over his competition. “Shout out to Gilzock, that n**** my idol,” the emcee raps over the beat.

Additionally, the music video even features the rapper basking in self-assurance, and a little bit of his arrogance. In the clip, we find Glock rapping to himself in the rear-view mirror and drinking with his buds in a parking lot. Clearly, Key Glock is feeling himself.
