Lil Uzi Vert Recorded 700 Songs For The Pink Tape Album According to Don Cannon

Lil Uzi Vert has been dropping hints about his upcoming project, The Pink Tape, for over a year now. He even hopped on Instagram Live to give fans a glimpse of an unreleased song that could potentially appear on the album.

Now, Uzi is back with a new single called “Just Wanna Rock,” which serves as the follow-up to their July EP RED & WHITE. It’s an emo-rock-meshed trap track that features a more barebones, lower register rapping style than usual.

During an appearance on the blue carpet at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club, Lil Uzi Vert gave fans another update on his forthcoming The Pink Tape. The rapper revealed that he’s still working on the project, and is planning to release it this year before embarking on his first headlining tour since 2018.

As the wait for The Pink Tape continues, Lil Uzi Vert has released four singles from the upcoming album as of late, including the first single “Demon High” and the EP’s lead track “XO Tour Llif3”. In July 2022, the Eternal Atake rapper shared Red & White, which served as his first solo effort in over a year.

In addition to his own music, Uzi is also producing a number of tracks for the likes of Future and Sean Paul. His most recent release, “Hittin My Shoulder,” penned by Future and featuring TM88, landed in the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100 last week.

While TM88 has yet to release his own solo project, the producer has previously sent beats to Uzi, and has even teamed up with Future for the latter’s Pluto x Baby Pluto LP. The two have yet to collaborate on a song together, but their studio link-up could have fans hoping for a possible joint effort on Baby Pluto’s forthcoming The Pink Tape.

    Lil Uzi Vert

If you’re a fan of Lil Uzi Vert, then you’ve probably heard that he recently signed with Roc Nation. This means that he’s now under the wing of a major label, which can only mean good things for him.

Since then, he’s been teasing fans about his upcoming album and new music. In fact, he’s taken it to the next level by posting a series of Instagram videos to tease what he’s currently working on.

The Philadelphia-based rapper has been working on his upcoming project, The Pink Tape, for some time now, and has now shared several new snippets of music. Whether or not The Pink Tape is coming out anytime soon is unclear, but we’re sure that it will be worth the wait.

With his latest release, “Hittin My Shoulder,” Lil Uzi Vert has swerved over some outerspace vibes that take the anticipation for The Pink Tape to stratospheric heights. The track features a guest verse from Rich The Kid, and has already garnered huge support from other artists including K Camp, Hitkidd, and more.

After releasing a new EP called Red & White last July, the ‘Just Wanna Rock’ rapper has been steadily building momentum, and it’s only natural that his fan base is begging him to release The Pink Tape. Until then, he’s been teasing his fans with new snippets of songs.

    The Pink Tape

Lil Uzi Vert has been dropping hints about The Pink Tape for over a year and a half, but the project still hasn’t been officially released. However, in September 2022, longtime collaborator Don Cannon said that Uzi has recorded 700 songs for the album.

In addition to recording the tracks, Cannon also mixed the record. He also revealed that he’s planning to release the project as a deluxe, which will include an extra bonus track.

While we don’t have a firm release date for the album, there’s no doubt that it will be released soon. The rapper has been teasing fans with snippets of songs since early March, and it seems like Uzi is ready to drop the LP any time now!

Regardless of the album’s release date, it’s sure to be filled with great music. It’s been over two years since Uzi’s last album, Eternal Atake, but we can’t wait to hear what he has in store for his loyal fans.

The rapper is currently single, but that doesn’t mean there’s no love in his life. He’s been linked to JT on and off for a while now, but it’s still unclear if the pair is actually dating.

Whether or not their relationship is genuine, Lil Uzi Vert and JT are joining a growing list of rappers who are dating each other. Other couples in the hip-hop world include Cardi B and Offset, Quavo and Sweetie, and Megan Thee Stallion and Pardison Fontaine.
