Lil Pump is counting his blessings after a terrifying car crash left his SUV completely totaled.
The 24-year-old Miami native, born Gazzy Fabio Garcia, revealed on Instagram that the accident occurred on August 9, 2025, and that quick thinking — along with what he describes as divine intervention — saved his life.
On Wednesday, August 13, the rapper shared graphic footage of the wreckage with his 13 million followers. The large SUV lay overturned on its side, its windshield shattered into a spiderweb of cracks, the front bumper ripped away, and the body of the vehicle coated in mud, rainwater, and road debris.
“Guys I almost lost my life four days ago. GOD is real!! Do not drive in the rain,”
He wrote alongside the images.
According to Lil Pump’s account, the crash happened so suddenly that he was trapped in the overturned vehicle with no easy way out. He made a split-second decision to kick down the window — a move he says ultimately saved his life.
“Health is wealth I had to kick down the window to get out. If not, I was dead,”
He wrote. The harrowing escape underscored how close he came to tragedy, a fact he repeated several times in his social media messages.
The near-death experience appears to have sparked a spiritual awakening for the artist. Known for his high-energy performances and party lifestyle, Lil Pump now says he plans to spend his upcoming 25th birthday in church rather than on stage or in clubs.
“On my birthday I will be going to church to thank God for all the blessings,” he told fans. “GOD is real!!”
Followers flooded his post with messages of relief and support, praising his survival and urging him to take care on the road. Lil Pump also used the moment to warn his audience about the dangers of driving in hazardous weather, repeating his message: “Do not drive in the rain.”
