Kid Shows Up to Black Peoples House With Whip

A kid showed up to black people’s houses with a whip. The incident happened in Kaufman County Texas and was captured on a doorbell camera that has been making rounds on social media.
The video shows a white kid walking up to the Black family’s door in Forney, TX, knocking on their door and cracking a whip. Then, the child turns around and walks away.
Across social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok, this video has garnered millions of views. It is believed to have been recorded last week in Forney, Texas and has sparked controversy because it triggered a sequence of events that eventually led to the arrest of the white boy’s father.
TMZ reports that a doorbell camera caught the white kid approaching his neighbor’s home with a whip. According to the outlet, he allegedly had a dispute with their 9-year-old daughter and wanted to resolve the issue using the whip.
In the footage, the boy appears to be very aggressive and hit his neighbor’s door with a whip twice. The woman at the door, identified as Carissa Nash, yells at the kid and tells him to leave.
Later, Carissa’s husband, Dezerrea Nash, went to the home to confront the boy’s dad about his behavior. According to CBS News, the couple told the dad that their car was scratched after his son cracked a whip on their front door.
After the dispute, the dad pulls out a gun and shoots at the couple. He then says, “I’m going to kill you!” TMZ reported that the police did not charge the child for the incident but he is bonded out of jail and the man was given an additional year to bond out.
