    Kasey Marcelle: The Sound of NYC

    Born and raised in New York City,  is familiar with the fast pace and bright lights. Known for his smooth voice and alluring performances, Marcelle has garnered attention quickly. We sat down with New York’s finest to talk about his upcoming projects.

    1. HypeFresh: Tell us about your current Project?

    “ I am currently working on something amazing. My current EP, released in October is titled, “iamKaseyMarcelle”. The Ep features 6 songs and has really shown my transformation as an artist.

    2. HypeFresh: You were raised in Bed- Stuy Brooklyn. Bed-Stuy has bred some amazingly talented people such as; Biggie, Fabolous, Jay-Z, Fabolous, and arguably yourself, Kasey Marcelle. What was your experience like?

    “I’ve been around I for a while, but I feel like I’m constantly fighting for people’s attention. It has never been easy to form my own path and create a space for my own unique NYC sound.

    3. HypeFresh: Tell us about your upbringing?

    “I’ve been singing since I was a kid. My mom knew I was a superstar since the start. When I was little, I went up to my mother’s knee and sang a melody rather than say my first word.”

    But growing up in the Streets, I hustled all my life to get to where I wanted to be. To live a certain lifestyle, I had to work hard.

    4. HypeFresh: Who has been your inspiration?

    My music inspiration has been party vibes because feel-good music brings people together to create a common experience. In the future, I want to work with Drake, because of his next-level talent.

    1. HypeFresh: What s your greatest achievement thus far?

    My greatest achievement was creating Pentagram Music Group LLC. This business has provided me with plenty of other talented people to reach the world.

    6. HypeFresh: What would you like to say to your fans?

    “I love my fans, I feel like I am just like my audience. My fans usually get surprised when they meet me. They are so surprised at how real I am. Being from Brooklyn, I cant be fake. I think my realness is what translates into my music to reach the people.”
