Guess what, everybody? There was a super-duper cool party in Washington, D.C., at Vice President Kamala Harris‘s house, and it was all about hip-hop! Now, you might be wondering, what’s the big deal with Kamala Harri’s hip-hop statement?
Hip hop emerged in the Bronx, NYC, in the early 1970s. It is characterized by its rhythmic beats, often sampled from other songs, and its rhythmic and rhyming speech, called rapping.
