The probe into Sean “Diddy” Combs has now ascended to include allegations of sex trafficking and allegations of sexual abuse. A good deal of the activity was directed at Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami in March 2024 by Department of Homeland Security Investigations into Counterfeit Trafficking Operations, and this activity was part of the larger criminal investigation. The raid was, reportedly, supposed to have unearthed evidence for over a half dozen civil suits filed against Combs which include serious allegations of sexual misconduct and coercion.
Several days after that, the police deposed several people who are parties to the civil suits against Diddy. Again, these depositions were in the context of the entire body of testimony, and the complainants were warned that they might be called upon to testify about their allegations sometime in the future before a New York City grand jury. The jury would have to make a determination if they should bring criminal charges against Combs.
CNN confirms that federal authorities have interviewed several accusers who have filed civil lawsuits against Diddy and reveals that the feds are also contacting people who are in footage seized from Diddy’s homes during the March raids, including a male sex worker.

In the meantime, however, this week, federal agents have been contacting some of the subjects they identified in the video footage seized during the raids, including one male sex worker. This is a sign that the investigation may be turning more explicitly toward identifying and prosecuting illegal activity recorded in those videos.
Diddy’s lawyers accused the raids as unnecessary shows of force and media circus-motivated actions that are clearly calculated to prejudice public opinion against Combs. They argue that Combs has fully cooperated with the investigators and refuted the assertions that stipulate the allegations against him are baseless.
That is one step further than a series of recent charges: he had raped and physically injured his ex-girlfriend, Cassie (Cassandra Ventura). While some of them have settled, fresh allegations keep appearing, giving federal authorities more work.
This raises the very real specter of indictments as the investigation continues, depending on the results presented to the grand jury and the evidence uncovered through these far-reaching federal efforts.
