Lopez also continued to release a number of hit singles, including “Get Right” and “Play,” as well as the Spanish-language album Como Ama Una Mujer in 2006. In addition to her successful film career, she hosted the American TV show American Idol and served on the panel of the TV show World of Dance.
In 2022, Lopez showcased a different side of her talents as a scheming stripper in the movie Hustlers. She also starred in the romantic comedies Second Act and Marry Me, both of which had positive reviews from critics.
Meanwhile, Affleck’s sci-fi thriller The Turning, which released in a limited run of just over 300 theaters earned less than $7 million domestically, and was considered a box-office disaster. The flick reportedly cost more than $65 million to make, and has racked up some of the worst critical reviews of Affleck’s career. But despite the film’s dismal numbers, Affleck hasn’t given up yet. The actor will likely be back in front of the cameras for his fourth Affleck-directed movie. Untitled DC Comics Project has no official release date or uncovered plot yet.
