“I’m about to graduate from college in 2021! Taking my graduation photos today. Can’t wait for you all to see,” she wrote in the post. The rapper was photographed with her cap and the words of her most iconic saying, “Real Hot Girl S***,” full of diamonds.
What’s Keeping Her Going?
The “Girls In The Hood” rapper talked with People magazine back in June about taking courses during her demanding schedule and primarily wanting to graduate for her mom, Holly Thomas. She passed away back in 2019 after battling brain cancer, and the artist made sure to never stop after making that commitment.
“I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud,” said the 26-year-old rapper. “I’m doing it for me, but I’m also doing it for the women in my family who made me who I am today.”
What’s Next for This ‘Hot Girl’?
Meg Thee Stallion is to have her degree in health administration and start a healthcare facility shortly after. She revealed college has been a roller coaster. However, she acknowledged that one should never stop chasing his or her dreams. She’s doing just that and much more.
The motivation of her fame and the passing of her two loved ones have shaped the “WAP” artist into who she is today. With her music in rap and singing lyrics that people may not approve of, Megan Thee Stallion is setting a bar for herself that many have not reached. She will continue to surprise fans and change the game of what it means to be a female rapper.
The rapper has a new album coming out in two days entitled Something For The Hotties. Stay tuned.
