His reaction to the backlash he received online for being upset about people calling out his girlfriend, Halle Bailey because she’s Black. The rapper recently made a statement about the race-based vitriol aimed at his girlfriend, and he even caught the wrath of Amanda Seales.
DDG described himself as a “ladies man” growing up, but joked that he’s “married now.” He later clarified that he’s not married to Halle but would eventually like to tie the knot with her.
Fans of the rapper have been taking to Twitter in a big way to let him know that he shouldn’t be making these comments about his girlfriend and that she deserves better. DDG’s tweet went viral, and it wasn’t long before he deleted the post. Then, he wiped all of the pictures from his Instagram account of him and Halle, too.
