A haunting discovery in a Tesla owned by singer D4vd has sparked questions after a 15-year-old girl’s body was found with a tattoo matching one on the artist’s finger. On September 8, 2025, workers at Hollywood Tow in Los Angeles noticed a foul odor coming from an impounded Tesla, towed two days earlier from Bluebird Avenue and Doheny Drive in the Hollywood Hills. Inside the car’s front trunk, police uncovered a decomposing body wrapped in a bag, later identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing from Lake Elsinore, California, since April 2024. The case took a striking turn when authorities noted a “Shhh…” tattoo on Celeste’s right index finger, identical to one D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has on the same finger.
This tattoo, popularized by Rihanna in 2008, isn’t unique, but its presence on both the victim and the singer has raised eyebrows. Photos show that D4vd didn’t have the tattoo visible from April to August 2024; it only displayed it in September, around the time of the discovery. Celeste, described as 5’2” tall, 71 pounds, with dark wavy hair, was wearing a tube top, black leggings, a stud earring, and a bracelet shaped like the letter “W” when found.
Her cause of death remains undetermined, with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner still investigating. The Tesla, registered to D4vd in Hempstead, Texas, had no prior report of being stolen. After hearing about the case, Celeste’s mother reached out to authorities, noting her daughter had mentioned a boyfriend named David. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division is leading the investigation, focusing on how Celeste ended up in the D4vd Tesla and any ties to D4vd.
