Giannis Antetokounmpo Is staying in Milwaukee, after putting up 50 pts

Nigerian Athlete, Giannis has plenty to smile about as both his team and he were successful. In Game 6, Giannis scored 50 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks. Additionally, his 50 point total ties with Hall of Famer Bob Pettit’s record as the highest points earned in a closeout game. There is no doubt that Giannis helped Milwaukee get that 105-98 victory over Phoenix. As 33 of those points came from an energized second half to ensure the victory by attacking the rim.

In regards to pulling a LeBron and leaving for a Super team, Giannis says,

“This city belongs to me. They trust me…believe in me…believe in us… Obviously, I wanted to accomplish the task. But that’s my stubborn nature. It’s simple to go elsewhere and win a championship with someone else.” It’s easy… I could join a super team, play my part, and win a championship. But this is the hard way, and this is the way to do it, and we did it. We f—ing did it.

Giannis: Dedicating success to his loved ones
