French Montana Friend Leaks He’s Expecting a Baby With Sheikha Mahra

A friend of French Montana accidentally referenced a pregnancy during a livestream at a New York Fashion Week event on Monday, September 14, 2026, while the rapper sat mic’d up next to streamer N3on, Complex reports. Neither Montana nor his fiancée, Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has confirmed a pregnancy.

The unidentified woman seated next to Montana told the rapper,

“I’m so happy for you.”

When he asked why, she replied,

“Because of the baby.”

Montana appeared to make a hushing gesture with his finger; his friend said,

“Nobody hears me.”

The rapper then pointed to the lapel microphone clipped to the collar of his jacket, and the woman covered her mouth as she realized the mic was live. Clips of the exchange spread quickly across X and Instagram, including on aggregator accounts.

Montana, 41, was attending the Fashion Week event while sitting between N3on and the unidentified friend. N3on, the 22-year-old streamer whose broadcast captured the exchange, is a Kick creator known for IRL content and has previously drawn HypeFresh coverage for his high-profile streaming partnerships and his recent experiment with using an AI version of himself to stream while sleeping.

Neither Montana nor Sheikha Mahra has publicly addressed the livestream comments. Other unverified rumors about the pregnancy circulated the same day, including anonymous tips and speculation about photos; none of those claims has been confirmed.

Sheikha Mahra, 32, is the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, according to Wikipedia. She was born February 26, 1994, in Dubai. Her mother is Greek socialite Zoe Grigorakos. She has a young daughter, Mahra bint Mana Al Maktoum, born in May 2024 from her previous marriage to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum.

That marriage ended in July 2024 after Sheikha Mahra posted a public statement on Instagram declaring the divorce three times, a form of triple talaq, and citing alleged infidelity, The Jerusalem Post reported at the time. The post quoted her as saying,

“I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you”

— invoking a practice traditionally reserved for Muslim men — and accusing her then-husband of being “occupied with other companions.” She later launched a fragrance line named Divorce.

Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, first linked romantically with Sheikha Mahra in October 2024 after she shared photos of him touring Dubai. He has said a mutual friend connected them after he saw her divorce post and admired her boldness. In Complex’s reporting on the engagement, Montana is quoted from the Joe and Jada podcast explaining,

“I remember I had seen she put up that post where she divorced somebody. And I’m like, ‘I like her.’ ‘Cause it takes a lot of guts to throw that up.”

The couple became engaged in June 2025 during Paris Fashion Week, shortly after Montana walked the runway for the 3.PARADIS Spring/Summer 2026 collection. The engagement was confirmed in a press release in late August 2025. The ring was a custom 11.53-carat emerald-cut diamond valued at about $1.1 million. HypeFresh covered the engagement celebration at the time.

As of Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the couple has not addressed the livestream comments or issued any statement confirming or denying a pregnancy. Wedding plans remain underway according to earlier statements from their representatives, with no public date set. Representatives for the rapper did not respond to Complex’s request for comment.
