The bulk of selling artisty comes from good marketing strategies and tons of promotion. While celebrities go to press conferences and post album cover arts to promote new music, others like French Montana, will put up 3D Billboards. The Coke Boy rapper made history by being the first rapper ever with a 3D billboard. As of late, Montana has worked hard to promote his fourth album They Got Amnesia. Not only has he outdone his peers, but his promotion tactics are on point.
French Montana’s 3D Billboard
When it comes to promotional hacks, French Montana has cracked the code. The Moroccan American rapper made history after promoting his new album They Got Amnesia through the use of a 3D Billboard.
On November 20th, the 39-year-old emcee captured footage of his digital billboard sign highlighting the album in New York. Moreover, the display showed an animated version of Montana waking up from his hospital bed and staring down at the crowd below him. His cartoon taps the glass on the windows and the billboard fades into darkness. Essentially, Montana has reminded fans to buy his album on streaming platforms and in stores. “FIRST RAPPER WITH THE 3D BILLBOARD IN NY,” French Montana wrote on Instagram. Pretty clever advertising.
French Montana fans can finally rave over the rapper’s newest album They Got Amnesia. Initially, the album suffered a major setback. Originally, the album was set for a major release on November 12th. Unfortunately, it never happened, due to unspecified reasons. Though, French Montana made sure not to keep the fans waiting too long.
The Coke Boy rapper tried again. Furthermore, he released the album on this past Friday, just in time for the weekend. In the end, French Montana dropped new music. Not to mention, he’s the first rapper ever to promote it with a 3D billboard.
