Accounts like Daily Loud and a bunch of other viral pages ran with it hard, calling it peak Florida Man. One caption said something like:
“Florida man finds millions in cash floating near the beach, drags it ashore, and actually calls the police.”
The video, set to that money/Santeria-type beat, blew up fast millions of views across X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts in just a couple days.

Others clowned him mercilessly:
“Bro found life-changing money and called the cops? I’d still be running.”
A lot of folks immediately started joking that it was “square grouper” that old Florida term for weed bales that wash up from smuggling runs.
It’s classic Florida chaos. Mysterious package, beach setting, possible crime vibes, honest citizen vs. “are you stupid?” debate. And yeah, legally you’re supposed to report found property under Florida law. Keeping something like that without saying anything can land you in hot water.
Of course, it’s worth noting that nobody’s actually confirmed what was in the bundle yet. The internet filled in the blanks with “millions in cash” because that’s way more fun than “probably just some random junk.” That’s how these stories spread half facts, half hype, pure entertainment.
