Fivio Foreign is once again capturing attention outside of the booth, unveiling a custom diamond chain that blends luxury jewelry with functional technology.
The Brooklyn rapper recently debuted a bespoke “Movie Theater” necklace in a short video that quickly went viral across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube, generating millions of views and widespread discussion. The piece, gifted to Fivio by New York-based jeweler NYC Luxury, is designed to resemble a miniature movie theater — complete with moving components and a working video screen.
The oversized pendant, roughly the size of a small smartphone when closed, is fully encrusted with diamonds and features “MOVIE THEATER” spelled out in raised diamond lettering on the front. It hangs from a thick, diamond-covered Cuban link chain, adding to its visibly heavy and extravagant appearance.
When opened, the pendant reveals its defining feature: a detailed interior modeled after a real theater. Movable rows of seats sit opposite a built-in LED screen that plays video with sound through integrated speakers, transforming the chain into an interactive display.
While no official price has been disclosed, the combination of full diamond coverage, custom engineering, and embedded technology has led fans to speculate that the chain is valued well into the six-figure range, if not higher. NYC Luxury is known for crafting high-concept, custom pieces for hip-hop artists, often pushing the boundaries of traditional jewelry design.
Online reaction to the reveal has been mixed. Some fans praised the necklace as a creative evolution of hip-hop “bling,” while others questioned its practicality and cost, sparking familiar conversations about wealth, taste, and excess in rap culture. Regardless of opinion, the chain’s viral moment has kept Fivio at the center of the cultural conversation.
The piece arrives amid an ongoing evolution in hip-hop jewelry, which has long served as a visual symbol of success and self-made wealth. From the gold rope chains popularized in the 1980s to today’s diamond-heavy statement pieces, artists have continually redefined what luxury looks like in the genre. Fivio’s movie theater chain introduces a new element — interactivity — reflecting a digital-first era where spectacle and shareability drive engagement.

Born Maxie Lee Ryles III, Fivio Foreign emerged from Brooklyn’s drill scene before breaking into the mainstream with his 2019 hit “Big Drip.” He later appeared on high-profile records, including Drake’s “Demons” and Kanye West’s “Off the Grid,” his highest-charting song to date. His debut album, B.I.B.L.E., debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 in 2022 and featured collaborators such as Alicia Keys and Lil Yachty. Outside of music, Fivio also runs the Foreignside Foundation, which supports at-risk youth and formerly incarcerated individuals.
With the unveiling of the movie theater chain, Fivio Foreign continues to demonstrate how jewelry in hip-hop has evolved beyond an accessory, serving instead as a form of artistic expression, innovation, and personal branding in an increasingly visual culture.
