Volunteers reportedly alerted officials to a “lost swimmer” around 7:30 a.m. A search operation followed, and a dive team later recovered her body from about 10 feet underwater at approximately 9:37 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said preliminary findings indicate drowning, with no foul play suspected. Further examination is expected through the medical examiner’s office.
