Most would think celebrities used to receiving daily criticism. Fame, however, doesn’t always bring about maturity and grace. In fact, some celebrities can be downright bitter. Rapper Eminem has yet again released a diss track targeting the Doggfather himself, Snoop Dogg. The “Godzilla” rapper has already managed to upset several Hip-Hop icons earlier this year and is continuing his reign of terror. Eminem doesn’t know how to walk away from confrontation.
Snoop Dogg Doesn’t Think Eminem Is The Best Rapper
To say that Eminem doesn’t know how to take things with a grain of salt is an understandment. Now adays, the emcee makes more headlines for starting feuds with fellow emcees, than his insane rapid rap flow. As of recently, Eminem released his new album Side B which dissed several major players in the rap game, such as Drake and 6ix9ine. The most surprising rapper to get dissed on a diss track by Mr. Slim Shady was none other than Snoop Dogg.
The story goes that Eminem caught wind of Snoop’s recent interview with The Breakfast Club, where the Doggfather excluded him from his top 10 list of best rappers of all time. “He’s like a top 10 lyricist and all that because Dr. Dre brought out the best in Eminem,” the senior rapper candidly explained during the interview. Snoop Dogg suggests that without Dr. Dre, Eminem would cease to exist. Though, it’s not like he’s the first rapper to make this assumption about Eminem. The news didn’t go over with the “Lose Yourself” rapper.
Eminem Releases Diss Track About Snoop Dogg
Eminem soon released his diss track “Zeus” which, as we can imagine, fired shots at the Doggfather. The 8 Mile emcee raps, “I’m used to haters, but not in my circle. I want peace, ’cause I’m trying to grow. Last thing I need is Snoop criticizing me. You were like a hero to me, but not really, I had it wrong.” Eminem took Snoop’s commentary to heart, especially given the fact that he idolized the man. What’s worse, is that Mr. Slim Shady called the legendary rapper a dog, literarily. He’s gone from expressing his anger to insulting Snoop Dogg.
There’s been no comment from the Doggfather himself yet but we’re sure he’ll have a few words for the emcee.
