Musician David “D4vd” Burke, who is currently facing murder charges after allegedly killing his 14-year-old girlfriend Celeste Rivas Hernandez, has made a request to a Los Angeles court regarding his hairstyle and new civilian clothing.
While the Los Angeles judge allowed the singer to get a haircut, he refused him civilian pants and a regular shirt. Thus, the musician will be dressed in jail uniform during the hearing process which is scheduled for May 1.
Based on court documents originally released by TMZ, the lawyers for D4vd wished to make him appear more “courtroom-ready.” The judge who issued the order that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department give him the haircut was Charlaine F. Prosecutors allege that Burke was involved in the continuous sexual abuse of Celeste, who was under 14 when the alleged abuse started around September 2023. They claim she went to his Hollywood Hills home on April 23, 2025, and never left. Her badly decomposed and dismembered remains were later found in the front trunk of a black Tesla registered to him in September 2025.
