Conor McGregor Caught in Private Photo Leak Scandal Involving Azealia Banks

Conor McGregor, former UFC champion and global sports figure, is facing backlash after rapper Azealia Banks publicly accused him of sending unsolicited nude photos via Instagram. On July 14, 2025, Banks took to X to share screenshots and explicit images, claiming that McGregor also threatened her not to reveal them.

The accusation, dropped on McGregor’s 37th birthday, immediately went viral, sparking widespread media coverage and reigniting debates about digital consent and celebrity accountability.

In a post that exploded across social media, Azealia Banks wrote:

“How you gonna send a bitch some crooked dick pics then threaten her not to tell… n-gga do you know who the fuck I am? This is HARAM.”

She later added:

“Like, how are you really going to sexually harass me with the potato farmer dick then threaten me not to tell???? Sorry… ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland… Use some fucking sunscreen.”

These statements, shared with explicit images, have brought renewed attention to how online interactions can cross boundaries especially when power and fame are involved.

Banks posted two screenshots she claims are from McGregor’s Instagram direct messages. The images reportedly feature McGregor in full-frontal selfies one of him lifting weights with a band tied around his genitals. One alleged message read:

“Don’t be a rat cos all rats get caught.”

Banks interpreted this as a threat, suggesting McGregor was trying to intimidate her into staying silent.

The images and messages were shared on Banks’s public X profile and have since been widely circulated across media platforms.

As of this report, McGregor has not commented publicly. His fiancée Dee Devlin posted a birthday message on the same day, with no mention of the controversy.

And this is not McGregor’s first rodeo. He has previously been subject to civil lawsuits, for alleged sexual assault, and has a criminal history that includes traffic offenses and a conviction for assault in 2018. Speculation about his political ambitions which are said to potentially include a run for Irish presidency will now come under greater scrutiny.

Azealia Banks, 34, has never been one to shy away from controversy. The news came not long after Ms. Hopkins’s ban from Twitter, where she had more than one million followers, and after her ban from Instagram. Previous episodes have included feuds with other celebrities, and strange social media stunts.

Still, this time, the discussion increasingly appears to be not so much about her but about what to make of her claims.

The case raises important questions around digital consent and online harassment. In the U.K., the Online Safety Act makes it illegal to share unsolicited explicit images. In the U.S., laws vary by state, but many have criminalized “cyber flashing” and revenge porn.
