Ciara and Chris Brown’s “How We Roll” Is the Party Anthem of the Summer

Two of the most celebrated R&B singers of their generation, Ciara and Chris Brown, just released a danceable new single and video. While a few critics have weighed in on Ciara’s decision to team up with the controversial Brown, who’s facing ongoing domestic violence backlash, Ciara’s refusing to wave the white flag. She even challenged him to a dance-off in the visual.

    Ciara and Chris Brown’s collaboration

The result is a fun, upbeat summer track that makes us long for pool parties and hot nights spent dancing the night away with our crushes. The track has a catchy beat, a perfect summery feel, and an infectious chorus. We’re already adding it to our playlist, and we think you should too!

The sexy singer has had quite the time lately. Ciara’s been dropping hints about the upcoming LP. She promoted the album with her own personal social media posts.
She recently shared a clip of herself performing “How We Roll” live at a radio show. Despite all the drama, she hasn’t let the ongoing Chris Brown controversy derail her plans. The two artists are no strangers to working together.
They collaborated on Ciara’s 2009 single “Turntables” and Brown’s “How Low.” As of late, the pair both made waves in the music industry by dropping hits that keep their fans happy. Ciara’s new project, titled Goodies, arrives later this year and will feature 16 tracks.
The singer’s been teasing the new LP by dropping a series of Instagram videos, including one that showcases her in a glam photo shoot with rapper Chloe Bailey. In the clip, Ciara struts her stuff in a black leather jumpsuit that emphasizes her lithe figure while flashing some serious cleavage.

While the sexy singer’s always been known for her talent, she’s also been a major style icon. And she looks absolutely stunning in her new, retro-inspired video. Despite the show’s oddball synopsis, How We Roll is a refreshing change of pace from other sitcoms currently airing on TV.
The premise isn’t quite as fresh as the CW’s All-American or HBO’s Ballers, but it does feature an unexpected source of inspiration. The series revolves around professional bowler Tom’s life in the sport, which adds a unique twist to the typical sports drama setup.

And while the plot of the show is a bit different, How We Roll’s total lack of interest in controversy and commentary helps it avoid the sort of toxic sitcom dynamic skewered on shows like Kevin Can F–k Himself. It’s an easy-to-watch and pleasant show that will make a nice addition to anyone’s summer lineup.
