Christian Combs Celebrates Diddy’s Not Guilty Verdict With Dance and Push-Ups

On July 2, 2025, Sean “Diddy” Combs received a mixed verdict in his high-profile federal trial, marking a significant legal victory despite facing potential prison time. After a seven-week trial and three days of deliberation, the jury acquitted Combs of the most serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion.

However, the 55-year-old music icon was found guilty on two lesser charges of transportation to engage in prostitution, each carrying a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. The verdict, delivered in a Manhattan federal courtroom, sparked emotional reactions both inside and outside the courthouse. While Combs avoided a potential life sentence, he remains in federal detention as Judge Arun Subramanian denied bail. Sentencing is expected in October or November 2025, with prosecutors seeking a prison term of 51 to 63 months.

The jury reached the following conclusions:

  • Acquitted:
    • Racketeering conspiracy (Count 1), which carried a potential life sentence.
    • Sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion in connection with Cassie Ventura (Count 2).
    • Sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion in connection with “Jane” (Count 4).
  • Convicted:
    • Transportation to engage in prostitution in connection with Cassie Ventura (Count 3).
    • Transportation to engage in prostitution in connection with “Jane” (Count 5).

Each transportation charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years, meaning Combs could face up to 20 years in prison if the sentences are served consecutively. The final sentence will be determined by Judge Subramanian at the upcoming sentencing hearing.

The trial, which began in late June 2025 and spanned several weeks, featured 34 witnesses and a jury composed of eight men and four women. The charges accused Diddy of operating a criminal enterprise tied to serious misconduct over two decades.

Diddy remains detained without bail, deemed a risk due to his “propensity for violence,” but the partial exoneration shifted the mood for his loved ones.

The verdict triggered intense reactions from Combs and his family. Inside the courtroom, Sean Combs dropped to his knees in prayer and was visibly emotional upon hearing the decision. He pressed his hands together, nodded to the jury, and reassured his family, saying,

“I’m coming home, baby!” and “I’ll be home soon. I love you.”

His family erupted in loud applause, cheering, and whistling as the verdict was read.

Christian Combs, known professionally as King Combs, didn’t hold back his joy. Outside the Manhattan Federal Court, the 27-year-old was spotted dancing exuberantly with car doors flung open, music blaring—specifically tracks from his joint EP with Kanye West, Never Stop. Reports from TMZ, ABC7NY, and posts on X (formerly Twitter) captured him dropping to the sidewalk for push-ups, a spontaneous burst of energy that symbolized the family’s elation. Joining him was Derrick Milano, a fellow artist and collaborator on the EP, turning the moment into a shared celebration.

Speaking to ABC News, Christian declared,

“I’m so happy. We love. Everyone that’s watching. I’m so happy. My pops is coming home. God bless. God bless the whole world.”

He reiterated to reporters,

“We’re so happy — Pops is coming home.”

His girlfriend, Raven Tracy, accompanied him and told the media she felt “happy and thankful” about the outcome.

Christian was joined by siblings Justin Combs, Chance Combs, Quincy Brown, and Diddy’s twin daughters, all visibly moved as the verdict unfolded. Emotional scenes included embraces, applause, and tears, with Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, reportedly experiencing a “fluttering heart” during the tense proceedings.
