Chappy Go Lucky, the intrepid and genre-defying musician, is set to release his eagerly anticipated EP “Attachment Styles” on April 11th. Born in Montreal and initially pursuing a career in Environmental Science, Chappy made a life-changing decision in 2018, dropping out of university and moving across the country to Vancouver. Embracing a minimalist lifestyle, Chappy lived in a minivan and immersed himself in the vibrant west coast music scene. This bold move led to the release of the groundbreaking “High Relief. ep” just a month later.
Since then, Chappy has been relentlessly creating music and growing his fan base. In early 2020, he embarked on a four-month tour in India, which was unfortunately cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Undeterred, Chappy returned to Vancouver and released his first album, “Mt Majestic,” followed by the poignant “Covid Drip” in mid-2020. Throughout 2021, he collaborated with talented artists such as Ariyon from Netflix’s Rhythm & Flow, Canadian musicians Different, and Postwar.
Now residing in Vancouver, Chappy Go Lucky is ready to take listeners on an emotional journey with “Attachment Styles,” an EP that addresses the complexities of trauma and relationships. Drawing from his own experiences, Chappy explores the impact of past traumas on present-day connections and the resilience needed to overcome life’s obstacles. With raw vulnerability and powerful storytelling, “Attachment Styles” is set to resonate with fans and newcomers alike.
Chappy Go Lucky’s “Attachment Styles” EP will be available on all major streaming platforms from April 11th, 2023.
