Celina Powell is facing renewed scrutiny after making unverified claims about Cardi B, Stefon Diggs, and Offset during a recent episode of her podcast 2 Girls From Mars.
On the Jan. 10 episode, Powell alleged that Diggs left Cardi B at the hospital for several days following the birth of their son in November 2025. According to Powell, the story was relayed to her directly by Offset, Cardi B’s estranged husband.
Powell claimed that because Cardi B and Offset’s divorce had not yet been finalized at the time of the birth, hospital staff informed Cardi that the birth certificate would need to list either Cardi or Offset as the child’s legal father—not Diggs. Powell alleged that Diggs reacted angrily to this information and left the hospital, “abandoning” Cardi B for approximately three days while she remained hospitalized.
Sports and hip-hop blogs quickly amplified the claim, often summarizing it as: “Celina Powell claims Offset told her that Stefon Diggs abandoned Cardi B at the hospital for three days while she was giving birth to his son.”
There is no independent confirmation of Powell’s account. Neither Cardi B, Diggs, nor Offset has publicly verified the claim, and no hospital documentation or third-party sources have corroborated the story.
The allegation quickly spread across sports and hip-hop blogs, with many posts framing it as a claim made by Powell rather than a confirmed report.
Powell’s comments come amid ongoing controversy surrounding her public disputes with Offset. During the same podcast episode, she made additional allegations against the Migos rapper, claiming he owed her $15,000 and had threatened her with violence. She also alleged that she possesses a FaceTime recording in which Offset discussed plans to harm Diggs. Those claims have not been substantiated.
Powell has a history of making high-profile claims about celebrities that later proved false. In 2018, she admitted to fabricating a pregnancy claim involving Offset, including falsified DNA test results. She has previously made similar false claims involving other artists.
Cardi B has not directly addressed Powell’s specific allegations. However, she spoke broadly about the situation during an X Spaces conversation on Jan. 12, saying she has been dealing with harassment and accused unnamed individuals of spreading misinformation about her personal life through others.
“I’ve been getting harassed,” Cardi B said, adding that someone has been using people as a “mouthpiece” to create narratives about her relationships. She said the situation has caused her emotional distress, but did not name Powell, Offset, or Diggs.
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 after seven years of marriage, later stating that repeated infidelity led to the split. She began dating Diggs afterward and welcomed a son with the NFL wide receiver in November 2025.
At this time, Powell’s claims remain unverified and are still being treated as allegations rather than established facts.
