Celina Powell has leveled a series of allegations against Offset, claiming the rapper owes her more than $15,000 and has issued repeated threats in the days following a New Year’s encounter that she publicly shared on social media.
The social media personality and OnlyFans creator, known for a long history of high-profile celebrity controversies, posted a video on Instagram on Jan. 2 showing herself in bed with Offset (born Kiari Cephus). In the clip, the rapper appears to be asleep as Powell films herself beside him, implying the two had recently been intimate. The video quickly spread across social platforms, drawing widespread attention amid Offset’s ongoing separation from his wife, Cardi B.
Days later, Powell escalated the situation by alleging that Offset had failed to repay $15,000 she claims he owes her, describing the amount as money she loaned him around the time of their encounter. In a series of Instagram Stories shared on Jan. 9, Powell said she has been attempting to collect the money for weeks and instead has received what she described as near-daily threats.
“Tired of this grown man threatening me almost every day and got me living in fear because he owes me 15k+,” Powell wrote. “If anything happens to me, Offset did it.”
Powell also shared audio recordings, some of which were later deleted, that she claims feature Offset speaking to her in an intimidating manner. In additional clips posted the same day, Powell alleged that Offset threatened NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who has been widely rumored to be romantically linked to Cardi B following the couple’s split.
Beyond the alleged threats, Powell made a number of broader claims about Offset’s personal and legal matters, including accusations related to his relationship with Cardi B, past parenting disputes, and financial issues. Those claims have not been independently verified.
Offset has not publicly addressed Powell’s allegations. His social media accounts appeared to be deactivated around the time the claims began circulating, and there have been no confirmed police reports or legal filings connected to the situation as of press time.
The response online has been swift and polarized, with much of the backlash directed at Powell. Many social media users criticized her for sharing private footage and accused her of seeking attention, while others pointed to her history of similar controversies involving well-known artists as a reason to question her motives.
Powell and Offset have a contentious history dating back several years. In 2017 and 2018, Powell falsely claimed she was pregnant with the rapper’s child, later admitting the claim was untrue. During that period, Cardi B reportedly issued a cease-and-desist order against Powell. Despite that past, Powell and Offset appear to have reconnected years later, leading to the current dispute.
Cardi B has not commented publicly on Powell’s recent claims. The Bronx rapper previously confirmed her separation from Offset after years of an on-and-off marriage, though details surrounding custody and legal matters have remained private.
