Cardi B Wins $60,000 Settlement Over Tasha K Non-Disparagement Breach

Cardi B has been granted an additional $60,000 payment from Tasha K after the YouTube personality violated the terms of their prior non-disparagement agreement by discussing the rapper’s personal life.

According to court documents filed in Tasha K’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, the Florida bankruptcy court approved the new settlement on June 30. The agreement requires Tasha K (born Latasha Kebe) to pay the $60,000 in two installments: $30,000 due within 28 days of the order and the remaining $30,000 by Dec. 31, 2026. If she misses either payment, the full amount of approximately $110,000 in attorneys’ fees originally sought by Cardi B becomes immediately enforceable.

The latest settlement stems from Tasha K’s continued public comments about Cardi B’s relationships, including references to her ex-husband Offset and former romantic interest Stefon Diggs. Cardi’s legal team argued these statements breached the non-disparagement clause included in the parties’ 2025 bankruptcy repayment plan.

This $60,000 resolution is separate from the roughly $4 million defamation judgment Cardi B secured against Tasha K in January 2022. That verdict, which included damages for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress, followed years of videos and statements by Tasha K that a jury deemed false and damaging.

Under the 2025 bankruptcy plan, Tasha K agreed to repay approximately $1.2 million of the original judgment over five years. The plan also included strict non-disparagement terms covering Cardi B, her family and associates. After multiple alleged violations — with court filings citing over 25 instances — a bankruptcy judge held Tasha K in civil contempt in May and allowed Cardi’s team to pursue attorneys’ fees and costs exceeding $110,000 for enforcement efforts.

The new deal represents a compromise, with Cardi accepting the reduced amount in exchange for guaranteed payments backed by guarantors: Tasha K’s husband Cheickna Kebe and her companies, Quetal LLC and Stash Media Works LLC.

The development marks another chapter in the long-running legal battle between the two, with Cardi B’s team maintaining aggressive enforcement of court orders and settlement terms. Tasha K remains obligated under the larger bankruptcy repayment plan, and any further violations could trigger additional sanctions.
