ARMYs are all ears and jaws dropping as BTS’ J-Hope announces his collaboration with rapper J. Cole for his upcoming single “On The Street.”
Amid all of the recent events, from becoming an ambassador for Louis Vuitton to releasing a documentary and starting his military enlistment process, j-hope has managed to find time to work on a special project with one of his biggest influences – American rapper J. Cole.

J-Hope is a huge fan of Cole and has been a longtime aspiring artist. He first came into contact with Cole in 2013 when the rapper released his hit song “Born Singer.”
Ever since that encounter, j-hope has been inspired to become an artist himself. He has a passion for music and a love for performing, which is evident in his debut album Jack In The Box.
During the making of the album, j-hope had a chance to meet his idol in person at the U.S. music festival Lollapalooza. In addition, he was also invited as a guest on J.Cole’s album “Proof.”
After a decade of admiring his favorite rapper, j-hope is finally working with him. The two are set to release their collab on March 3 at 2 PM KST.

The 40-second teaser shows a short meeting between J-Hope and Cole, sitting on a rooftop in New York with the city’s skyline visible behind them. As the video continues to pan across the skyline, a whistling sound is heard as both artists look into the future together.
When the camera pans to their side, a whistling melody is heard again as they both look upward. The title and release date are then revealed, with the whistling rhythm continuing to carry the tune.
While this is an exciting collaboration for both j-hope and Cole, it will be even more rewarding for fans. It’s been a longtime dream of j-hope’s to collaborate with his musical idol, and now that it’s coming true, it’s sure to be a big moment for the entire BTS Army.
