Bobby JaGGerJacK Showes Us That He Is A “Different” Breed Of Rapper On His New Single

Cleveland, Ohio-based rapper/singer-songwriter Bobby JaGGerJacK is back with his charming aura as he unveiled his newest single, “Different.”

Bobby JaGGerJacK takes his anger after being left off from a job he had handled for over four years. He immediately went to work on a backup plan and soon remembered that he was a very talented rapper, so he invested his time to perfect his craft, and that’s what made up the storyline for this beautiful masterpiece.

In addition, just as the title is “Different,” so is Bobby. He never seems to surprise us with his catchy lyrical flow interwoven with a lot of bravadoes harmonized smoothly with emphatic energy, creating room for a massive appeal and attention to his unique music.

Bobby JaGGerJacK conversed with us and answered our distinctive 8 Questions. Check it out below.

HYPEFRESH: So tell us, how did it all begin? What encouraged you to start playing and making music?

Bobby: The truth is that I’ve always been a bit of a wordsmith and scholar but also a theatrical walking cartoon character. While most of the guys in my neighborhood grew up playing sports, hanging out all night on the corners, kicking it with all the fabulous women, and collectively doing stupid shit.

I took time to learn and teach myself as much as possible so that no matter my physicality, I’d go far on the merit of my mind alone.

With that in mind, though, it left a LOT of open space for me to get a hobby or get into trouble, so I started with the latter, learned to up my street intellect, and then developed a love for art and music.

Combining that newfound love with the fact that I was also audacious and not afraid to speak my mind made for a silky smooth entry into the world of music. I’d also like to note and pay homage to my three most prominent influences, Eminem, Ice Cube & Royce Da 5’9″.

If it weren’t for me growing up listening to them and having that admiration, I never would’ve taken music, let alone the rest of what I do in entertainment, to the lengths I have.

HYPEFRESH: Talk me through your creative process when you write new music.

Bobby: I like to start with an instrumental frequently because some of my best songs are made when I find something that resonates with me and goes with the flow. I watch a lot of anime, ensuring I’m never depleted creatively because of the creators’ boundless imagination.

I also like to go in with a clear head or minimize the stress I take into the booth. It’s a delicate balance to maintain.

HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “Different”?

Bobby: I wrote “Different” because I wanted to create something that showed creativity and exercised my skills but not too much. I wanted to create a record that could be consumed by the old, young, recluse, social butterfly, an obscure among us, and I made a solid offering on that front.

More importantly, it creates a universal and entertaining enough vibe to draw any crowd’s attention.

HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?

Bobby: I like that I feel purposeful in what I do. I’m proud that I may not have as much as the next guy, but I’m living my life on my terms.

And I love music, so the possibility of me becoming someone contributing to the culture on that front, makes me feel at home.

HYPEFRESH: What projects do you have coming up? Can you give us any info on them?

Bobby: I’ve been working on being intentional with my music. I’ve taken some time to dissect and study Rap, and it’s aided me in broadening my perspective as a musician.

I am afraid I have to keep specifics close to the vest, but what comes next from me is the total of all my experience, and it’ll be a wonder to witness.

HYPEFRESH: Do you have any advice for our readers who may be trying to enter the game of music?

Bobby: be true to yourself and what your goals are. This industry has become oversaturated with lots of noise that tend to take the focus away from music, and it’s easy to get caught up in the mix of it all.

HYPEFRESH: How do you solve productivity/scheduling problems and reduce overwhelming situations?

Bobby: Music is the only thing I do, so there are no real-time constraints, and I’m able to minimize the amount of stress I take on, making it a small task to be ready at the helm, so to speak when it’s time to rap

HYPEFRESH: Name Three things you can’t live without when recording in the studio.

Bobby: The first would be a plan. I’m not particularly eager to waste the small amount of time I can afford, so I hold myself accountable for having a specific idea about what I will work on in the studio. The second is a few snacks because it’s easy to get enveloped by the process and go long periods without eating.

The third is my pad with my lyrics in it. I always like to have a point of reference, so I’m always on top of what I’ll be reciting in the booth and can prevent any missteps from forcing me to remember it all.
